My Trip to the Snow

Well, sorry for not keeping in touch.  It was a fun-filled weekend up at Truckee where my Humans had taken me.  Most of the time, the Humans were out playing in the white fluffy stuff they called "snow" while I lounged around on the sofa.  As you can see, it was quite a lot of hard work for me.

But I did not miss out.  Lil' Madam said she made me a snow-monkey.  I could only see it from the window but it was pretty cute. 

Then it was the long drive home again.  I tolerated the long drive okay.  I spent most of the time just sleeping in my carrier.  The Humans made lots of stops and they got food for themselves.  But as usual, they did not get anything for me.

It was nice to be home again.

Guess Where I am?

Yesterday I traveled to Truckee. It was a long ride but I got through it. I just slept through the whole thing. I woke up occasionally but then fell asleep. When we got there it was very cold and it was late. I got to sleep with Lil Madam, well I just got to the place and I wasn't familiar with it. So they let me sleep with Lil Madam. Well let's see what they have in store for me today.

When I woke up Lil Madam was still sleeping. I was staring at her intensely and waiting for her to wake up. I was so hungry. I was about to pounce on her face to wake her up but lucky for her Lil Madam, Ma Madam walked in that second and saved Lil Madam from getting pounced on and me from starving to death. After a good breakfast Lil Madam woke up and she came into the room. I just went to the chair in the sun and fell asleep(above).

 When I woke up I decided to get up and enjoy where I was. I went to the windowsill and just stared out the glass thing. It was beautiful. I kinda just sat there and sooner or later I lied down and fell asleep.

My Busy Day at Home

 

Today I was at home and ma Madam was very busy. I am not sure why but she was running around the house and grabbing things and shoving them in a giant bag, but I know why(find out why in my next blog). I was busy as well: I was in my office (above) all day. Busy, busy, busy!! Can you see how clean my desk is? It isn't even dirty! 

Ma Madam was at this door that smelled very nice, so when she opened it she was putting clothes in it so I wanted to check it out. When ma Madam went somewhere else I sneaked in and decided to help. I picked up a sock that ma Madam dropped and decided to carry it to the giant machine (Ed. Note: Washing Machine) and placed it in. When she came back I am pretty sure she was proud of me for doing that. I had a very busy day.         

My Humans Love Me

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Ma Madam gave me a huge bouquet of roses today!!!

I am so touched.

Not only she feeds me, she pets me, she cleans up my litter box, she gives me such beautiful flowers!!!

I hope you are as lucky as me.

Outing in the Rain

Today, ma Madam and lil' Madam took me on an outing.  It was a visit to my vet.  I went there before but my memory of that last visit was all a blur.

I thought it was a good idea to get out a little, considering I am a house cat and never gets out, not to any kitten parks at least.

It was raining all day and luckily I was in my carrier and did not get wet.  I did not like the car ride very much this time.  I meowed a lot but the Humans did not seem to respond.

Finally, when we got there, they put me in this Exam Room.  They put me on this white bed. I was told I gained more than a pound since the last visit.  I guess that is to be expected considering how much wet food I have been demanding from ma Madam.  Yes, I prefer mostly wet food and ma Madam usually oblige.

Then the Vet came back and poked a needle in my arm.  It hurt a little but I took it bravely.

I was glad it was all done.  I hope I don't have to do this all the time.

Somber Me!

Why am I so somber, you may ask.

Well, my Humans told me I have to go to the Vet tomorrow and I will get a shot.

I got a shot last time I went there and it wasn't that bad.  But I still don't like it.

So I am a little apprehensive now.

But the best part is I get to get OUT of the house!!!!

Finally, I will get some fresh air and sunshine.  Hoooray.

May be I won't mind vet appointments so much.

The Monotonous Life of A House Cat

The life of a house cat is pretty monotonous.  I was reading my friend Noodles' blog and she gets to go to the dog park all the time and meet other canine friends.  I don't think there are any Kitty Parks. That's so unfair.

So, this is what I do all day..........

 I eat.

 I play.

And I sleep.













That's it - that's the life of a house cat.

My Favorite Pastime

Well, I have a lot to update you all on.  My Humans have been keeping me quite busy.

First, ma Madam likes to "work" at the color screen a lot and I am getting to like it myself.  I like to sit in front of the screen and watch what she is doing. It's pretty interesting to me except that ma Madam keeps shooing me away.  I don't know why she is bothered.  All I am doing is sitting there in front of her watching the screen and ooccasionally, very occasionally, I would paw at the screen.  Don't know why that would bother her.  Oh well.

Second, the Humans got me a new mat for my litter box.  It's Rainbow color.  It really adds color to my room.

I think the Humans want me to walk on the mat after I get out of my litter box. Ma Madam is constantly sweeping up the litter I drag outside the box. She keeps telling me to walk on that rainbow mat.

But I don't want to do that and so I jumped over it instead.  It's really fun because there are now piles of litter just outside the mat.  I hope ma Madam doesn't mind.

Finally, I have now decided I don't like toys that seem like they are made for animals.  I prefer to play with things made for the Humans instead.  I lost the little bit of orange plastic thing.  But the Humans now give me a bit of yellow fuzzy string (Ed. Note: pipe cleaner).  That was a lot of fun - can you see me pawing it?

By the way, I am sitting here on this tent that lil' Madam has given me.  She usually sets it standing up but I am pretty good at knocking it over and I like sitting on it.


So much for now, do you think I terrorize my Humans enough?

DA! DA!

                                                                            

Today I went crazy and I learned a new word. 

Whenever I do something bad, the Humans would shout "DA" at me.

I think DA means "No" or "Stop What You Are Doing."  I am not quite sure.  

Or may be the Humans just want to scream at me.  

Well, what I did was I got really good at jumping onto the center island where the Humans have retreated to eat.  I love the center island now.  I love hanging out there and playing with the green ball thingy with the letter M on it.  The Humans kept saying DA to me and I would have to get off but I just jumped right back on a few minutes later.  I also found lots of toys to play with in the tray.  My favorite is lil' Madam's hair ties.

So the Humans have now retreated to eating standing up next to the sink on the the other side of the kitchen.  I haven't figured out how to jump to that counter yet but I am sure I will soon.

Now, let's play a game - Where's Tigger?  Can you find me in the picture below?

My Adventures!!!!! They were Kool!!

The last couple of days were just as adventurous as ever.  After I kept jumping onto the dining table, the humans have now retreated to eat at the counter.  But that did not deter me.  I figured out how to jump onto the counter pretty quickly.  But ma Madam sprayed me with a water bottle. That was not nice of her.  I didn't like it very much. I had to go back to my room and sit in my box to recover from the drama.

But then after some rest, I regained my courage.  This time I saw lil' Madam drinking some white liquid.  She drank it all without saving any for me!! -_-  But I was able to get to the bits at the bottom of the glass.  It didn't taste very good.  I wonder what it was.  (Ed. Note: it was soy milk.)

Meanwhile, I continue to terrorize ma Madam whenever she tries to work at this big colorful screen thing with moving pictures.  I usually sit between her and the big colorful screen with moving pictures that she stares at and the flat things that she keeps tapping on.  Everytime she taps on that flat thing, something will come up or change on the screen. It's kinda neat and I like to stare at it too!  I think she is getting quite annoyed but I don't really care.  It's quite fun for me and I have to keep busy somehow.
