Going for a Walk - Not April's Fool Joke

The Humans said it's a nice day today and we should go for a walk.  

I thought they were joking.  

After all, it is April's Fool Day.

Then Ma Madam put this strappy thing on me and a purple rope and here we go.  

Lil' Madam has a friend visiting again.  This time she is Lil' K.  She is also very nice, just like Lil' S the other day.  Here she took me out to the backyard.

But I was a little leery of the outside.  I didn't like the grass very much. It's green and inviting but I am not sure about walking on it.  They also took me to the front of the house but I am still not sure I like this whole outdoor thing.  

Well, may be I'll come to like it but I was happy to be back home and live my life as a content house cat.

Lucky Friday Everyone!

I hope you all are having a nice Friday!!

I want to thank Ms. B for giving my Humans the feather toy. I really love it and can't stop playing with it.  The Humans have taken to hiding the feather in a closet so I can't get to it.  But I am never deterred that easily. I would dig under the door for hours just to get to the feather.

But now I take a rest.  As a house cat, enjoying the window view is the closest I ever get to the outside. There was a couple of bees buzzing around and I have to keep eyes on them, lest they bother my Humans.

Ma Madam went out for a minute and came back with a little piece of orange paper - she said today could be our Lucky Friday and that piece of orange paper can make us all really rich.  Well I hope so, for her sake - because you know, I am a house cat,  I don't need much. So $640 million really doesn't mean anything to me.  But may be nice for Ma Madam and Lil' Madam.

A New Friend!

What a day I have today.

Lil' Madam brought a little friend of hers home - Ms. S.  Ms. S is a ballet dancer like Lil' Madam.  She also is an animal lover although she does not have a cat of her own at this time - but she has two birds!!!!!  I would LOVE to meet those two birds - really - and test my hunting skill - no I mean, to be "friends" with those birds!


Lil' Madam and Ms. S were busy all day long and I have to entertain them as well.  Here, they wanted to put on a dance and I have to help out - I have to choreograph the dance for them and supervise their rehearsal.

It was a very long day for me since I don't get to sleep my day away as a Nocturnal House Cat.

I was quite beat up after all the excitement and was glad the girls finally decided to sit down for a bit.  Ms. S let me rest on her lap - what a nice girl.  I hope she visits often.

Raw Food Diet

Hello ya all.  Ma Madam has been trying to give me some variety in my diet, she claims.  But all she has been doing is giving me some "cheap" wet food.  Well, I rejected them all.  I hold my ground and insist on the fancier wet food.  I think I am training ma Madam pretty well.

Then, ma Madam got this idea that I should be eating a "raw food diet" - something about eating natural food!  That sounded really scary.  Being a picky eater myself I am not so sure if I want to eat "raw food".  

But today, ma Madam gave me something yellow and yummy - she calls it egg yolk.  I didn't like it at first because it was a little cold.  I have to remind ma Madam that there is no refrigeration in Nature.  So I waited a while and try again and it was gooood.  I loved it.  As you can see, I ate it all.

I guess I would give this whole raw food diet a try!

 

Tiggger the Plumber

I am working my plumbing job tonight.  Can't you tell I am quite busy!!

Even though I am just a house cat, I try my best to make contribution to the family.

After all, my Humans are treating me quite well.

They have been treating me pretty well. Lil' Madam has been letting me sleep with her but I have been taking over her pillow.

Like they say, "Why sleep alone when you can sleep with the humans!"

I hope you are all having a nice weekend. I am too. 

Yesterday, I got a new toy from Ms. B. It is a "birdie" at the end of stick. It was such a great toy.  I was just going crazy catching the "birdie".  And I am really good at it.  You can see the picture below. Every time the "birdie" starts flying I always get it after 5 seconds. 

Well I got really good at it so I was doing back flips and somersaults. I got really tired but there was nowhere to sleep. So I just slept on Ma Madam's newspapers. I have been doing that lately so Ma Madam couldn't read the newspaper. 

P.S.  You may have gotten a blank message from me earlier. Sorry about that.  I was getting a little exited and hit the publish button too soon - I am still little and I tend to get excited easily.
