My Trip to the Snow

Well, sorry for not keeping in touch.  It was a fun-filled weekend up at Truckee where my Humans had taken me.  Most of the time, the Humans were out playing in the white fluffy stuff they called "snow" while I lounged around on the sofa.  As you can see, it was quite a lot of hard work for me.

But I did not miss out.  Lil' Madam said she made me a snow-monkey.  I could only see it from the window but it was pretty cute. 

Then it was the long drive home again.  I tolerated the long drive okay.  I spent most of the time just sleeping in my carrier.  The Humans made lots of stops and they got food for themselves.  But as usual, they did not get anything for me.

It was nice to be home again.

Guess Where I am?

Yesterday I traveled to Truckee. It was a long ride but I got through it. I just slept through the whole thing. I woke up occasionally but then fell asleep. When we got there it was very cold and it was late. I got to sleep with Lil Madam, well I just got to the place and I wasn't familiar with it. So they let me sleep with Lil Madam. Well let's see what they have in store for me today.

When I woke up Lil Madam was still sleeping. I was staring at her intensely and waiting for her to wake up. I was so hungry. I was about to pounce on her face to wake her up but lucky for her Lil Madam, Ma Madam walked in that second and saved Lil Madam from getting pounced on and me from starving to death. After a good breakfast Lil Madam woke up and she came into the room. I just went to the chair in the sun and fell asleep(above).

 When I woke up I decided to get up and enjoy where I was. I went to the windowsill and just stared out the glass thing. It was beautiful. I kinda just sat there and sooner or later I lied down and fell asleep.

My Busy Day at Home

 

Today I was at home and ma Madam was very busy. I am not sure why but she was running around the house and grabbing things and shoving them in a giant bag, but I know why(find out why in my next blog). I was busy as well: I was in my office (above) all day. Busy, busy, busy!! Can you see how clean my desk is? It isn't even dirty! 

Ma Madam was at this door that smelled very nice, so when she opened it she was putting clothes in it so I wanted to check it out. When ma Madam went somewhere else I sneaked in and decided to help. I picked up a sock that ma Madam dropped and decided to carry it to the giant machine (Ed. Note: Washing Machine) and placed it in. When she came back I am pretty sure she was proud of me for doing that. I had a very busy day.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Ma Madam gave me a huge bouquet of roses today!!!

I am so touched.

Not only she feeds me, she pets me, she cleans up my litter box, she gives me such beautiful flowers!!!

I hope you are as lucky as me.

Outing in the Rain

Today, ma Madam and lil' Madam took me on an outing.  It was a visit to my vet.  I went there before but my memory of that last visit was all a blur.

I thought it was a good idea to get out a little, considering I am a house cat and never gets out, not to any kitten parks at least.

It was raining all day and luckily I was in my carrier and did not get wet.  I did not like the car ride very much this time.  I meowed a lot but the Humans did not seem to respond.

Finally, when we got there, they put me in this Exam Room.  They put me on this white bed. I was told I gained more than a pound since the last visit.  I guess that is to be expected considering how much wet food I have been demanding from ma Madam.  Yes, I prefer mostly wet food and ma Madam usually oblige.

Then the Vet came back and poked a needle in my arm.  It hurt a little but I took it bravely.

I was glad it was all done.  I hope I don't have to do this all the time.

Somber Me!

Why am I so somber, you may ask.

Well, my Humans told me I have to go to the Vet tomorrow and I will get a shot.

I got a shot last time I went there and it wasn't that bad.  But I still don't like it.

So I am a little apprehensive now.

But the best part is I get to get OUT of the house!!!!

Finally, I will get some fresh air and sunshine.  Hoooray.

May be I won't mind vet appointments so much.

The Monotonous Life of A House Cat

The life of a house cat is pretty monotonous.  I was reading my friend Noodles' blog and she gets to go to the dog park all the time and meet other canine friends.  I don't think there are any Kitty Parks. That's so unfair.

So, this is what I do all day..........

 I eat.

 I play.

And I sleep.













That's it - that's the life of a house cat.
