How's your weekend going?

I hope you are all having a nice weekend. I am too. 

Yesterday, I got a new toy from Ms. B. It is a "birdie" at the end of stick. It was such a great toy.  I was just going crazy catching the "birdie".  And I am really good at it.  You can see the picture below. Every time the "birdie" starts flying I always get it after 5 seconds. 

Well I got really good at it so I was doing back flips and somersaults. I got really tired but there was nowhere to sleep. So I just slept on Ma Madam's newspapers. I have been doing that lately so Ma Madam couldn't read the newspaper. 

P.S.  You may have gotten a blank message from me earlier. Sorry about that.  I was getting a little exited and hit the publish button too soon - I am still little and I tend to get excited easily.

P.S.  Thank you Ms. B for giving me such a wonderful new toy. I really enjoy it. You are such a wonderful person.

I myself worked hard again this morning.  Took in 4 hours of sleep.  I just woke up and doing my usual round of the house.

 

I am so looking forward to the weekend and bottomless wet food!!!

I hope you all have a great weekend too.

It's going to be St Patty's Day and I am going to celebrate by sleeping in my Green bed.  How about you?

It's going to be raining and stormy this weekend. 

But that does not bother me because I am a house cat and I don't get out anyway!  But you all try to stay dry.  (And Noodles - you wont' get to go to your dog park!!)

Part of the Family

This week I became part of the family!! I am so proud.

What happened was that ma Madam decided to get me some new wet food.  She said they are cheaper than the ones I have been eating.

Well, I don't like them.  I won't have them. I refuse to eat them even though I was hungry.  I hold out for TWO whole hours.

Then ma Madam finally caved in and gave me some of the original good wet food.



Well, I compromised with ma Madam.

If she gives me the good food first, I will eat the cheap one afterwards.

BUT she has to serve me the food in separate bowl.  One time she got lazy and she put both of the wet food in one bowl and I won't have it.  No way.

So here I am, enjoying two kinds of wet food.



The silver bowl is the good one.

The purple bowl is the cheap one.

And ma Madam said I am now part of the family, whatever that means.

I have a feeling she is referring to my pickiness and my demand for my different food to be separated and not touching each other.  But it's that too much to ask for.  I am a house cat after all. I deserve royal treatment.

Guess what I am doing?

Yes, you guessed correctly - I am WORKING hard AGAIN!!

It's Thursday only - one more day till the weekend.  So I am still working, working hard.  In case you don't catch on - my work is sleep, because I am nocturnal, remember!

Last night, Lil' Madam gave me a star. She said it's because I am such a superstar.  Of course I am.  No need to say it out loud!!  Here you are - me as Superstar Tigger!!!

My Royal Bath

Can't you tell I am taking my royal bath.

Ma Madam got this nice tub sized just for me and I just love soaking in it, sans the water.  As you know, cats don't like water.

I love my royal bath!!!

Survive Daylight Saving?

Hello you all - did you all survive first day of Daylight Saving????

Well, both my Madams were really tired and sleepy, so much that my Lil' Madam went to bed before 9 - a rarity for her as she is a night owl - almost nocturnal like me.

So here they were, all grumpling about getting up an hour early to go out.

Meanwhile, I get to just rest and relax on ma Madam's gigantic bed - so comfortable.

That's the good life of a house cat!!!

End of the Weekend and Bottomless Wet Food!

Well, all good things have to come to an end.

Now the weekend is ending which means the end of limitless, bottomless WET food.  Sigh!!

Yeah, on the weekends, I don't have to sleep all day - I also get to eat WET food all day long.

Even though the Humans leave out dry food for me, I still demand WET food.

It's not like the Humans are that busy anyway - if they are around, they ought to feed me the food I like best.

Because when they are away, like they do on week days, I have to endure the dry food until they come home, yuck!
